Rose Olson

Rose Olson, 79 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of

February 10, 2026. Per Rose's request, there will be a Celebration of Life for her children and grandchildren at a later date. Caring for Rose and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.

Rose, along with her twin sister, Ruth, were born on December 7, 1946, in Glenwood, MN to the late Robert and Gloria (Whipps) Rybak. She grew up in rural Ottertail, MN and attended school in Perham. Rose remained in the rural Ottertail County area most of her life and raised three daughters. Her favorite hobbies were crafting, photography, walks in the woods and later in life, Texas Hold'em. Family and friends all associated Rose with her great cooking and baking, which she has passed down to her daughters and grandsons. As health problems became an issue, she resided at St. Otto's in Little Falls, MN, where she received great care.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Robert and Gloria Rybak; brother, Robert, Jr (Wolfe); sister, Karen Grindstaff; and nephew, Jonathan Boltz.

Rose is survived by her sisters, Judy Rybak, Ruthie (Wayne) Weinrich; brother, Joseph (Yvonne) Rybak; daughters, Deborah (Craig) Kempkes, Melissa (Brian) Earnshaw and Roxanne (James) Irwin; grandsons, Matthew (Linda) Kempkes, Nicholas (Michaela) Kempkes and John (Becca) Irwin; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
