William Champa Obituary
A memorial gathering will be held from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Caring for Bill and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.
Bill was born on January 22, 1954, in St. Cloud, MN, to the late Ed and Mary (Spencer) Champa. He grew up in St. Cloud, where he attended school and graduated from Apollo High School. Following graduation, he continued his education at St. Cloud Technical College. Bill carried on a family tradition as a second-generation photographer of Champa Studios, capturing countless cherished moments for families through portraits, weddings, and special events in the area. Bill was an avid golfer who participated in league play at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club for many years and especially treasured taking his grandson, Lucas, golfing with him. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, woodworking, and could often be found working on projects around his home. Above all, Bill valued time spent with his friends, family, and grandchildren. He was a kind and gentle man who deeply loved those around him and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Dustin (Jen) Champa of Royalton, MN and Tina Champa of St. Cloud, MN; siblings, Shari (Butch) Christle, Jeanne (Mike) Lommel and Ed (Judy) Champa; and grandchildren, Lucas and MacKenzie Champa.
Bill was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Mary Champa.
