Connie Phillips Obituary
She was born December 3, 1937, to Curtis Hendrix and Linda Haney Hendrix.
Connie was a longtime member of Batley Baptist Church. She retired from Methodist Medical Center as a unit clerk. Connie was an avid Atlanta Braves and Tennessee Vols fan. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Linda Hendrix; brother Bruce Hendrix; sisters Hope Aslinger, Faye Childs, Shollie Cabral, Hazel Smith, and Christine Lindsey.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ora Junior Phillips; Children Keith Phillips, Kim Phillips and wife Jeanie, and Kevin Phillips and wife Kristy; Grandchildren Kody, Kurt, Kyndal, Kooper, Kyleigh, and Kameron; great-grandchildren Ora and Harper; brother Joe Hendrix; and special nephew Darryl Childs.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Batley Baptist Church Cemetery.
