Connie Marie Price

Connie Marie (Scaggs) Price, 69, transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, November 3, 2025. She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, on July 21, 1956, to John and Gloria (Sagar) Scaggs.
A longtime resident of Columbus, Connie often could be found researching local history and attending neighborhood yard sales. A lover of literature, she enjoyed the comforts of a good book; her latest read was always at hand. She graduated from Columbus North High School in 1974, and graduated from the Ohio State University in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She married her husband of 43 years, Stephen Dean Price, on June 12, 1982, and raised their family in Clintonville.
A longtime member of Calvary Bible Church, she attended weekly services and fellowships. Connie valued and cherished the relationships and support of her fellow congregants, especially toward the end of her earthly time. Connie doted on and was deeply affectionate towards animal companions, most notably the pets that came into her life in her adulthood: Scamp, Jetta, Rosemary, Taffy, and Bandit.
Connie is remembered by new friends and old for her sweet demeanor and enjoyment of family humor, often simultaneously laughing and eye-rolling at the latest joke her husband or daughters presented.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Gloria (Sagar) Scaggs; and special family friend, W. Doyle Campbell. She is survived by husband, Stephen Price; children, Caitlin Price and Ciara Billingsley; sister Billie Jo (Scaggs) Hull; mother-in-law, M. Joann Wetzel; and pet dog, Bandit.
Friends may call on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, OH, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Funeral services at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home will follow at 4:00pm.
