Connie Faye Risner, 72, of Winamac, IN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She passed away at her sister's home in Liberty, KY after long battle with heart disease. Connie was born on January 20, 1954 in Hammond, IN to the late Lawrence Earl and Betty Lou (Phelps) Hammer. She was raised in Northwest Indiana and made her home in rural Pulaski County. On June 26, 1970, Connie married James Risner, Jr. in Black Oak, IN. She loved the Lord and enjoyed worshiping at Full Gospel Assembly Church in Knox, IN.

Connie worked for Good Oil in Winamac for ten years before working as the Jail Commander at the Pulaski County Jail for ten years. Her true passions in life were cooking and gardening. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by:
