In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Daniel Risse; brothers, Edward Young, Charles C. Young, Sammie Young, and Donnie Young; sisters, Ann Ratliff and Jane Bradley.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicki Sparks (Scott) of Owensboro, Susie Bartlett of Henderson, and April Harrison (Deno) of Owensboro; 6 grandchildren, Jarid Gardner, Kevin Bartlett, Jessica Wilson, Blake Bartlett, Amanda Harrison, and Donald Harrison, 7 great-grandchildren, Jackson Gardner, Landon Bartlett, Thomas Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Memphis Gardner, Camille Bartlett, and Phenix Gardner; and 3 siblings, Faye Mehlbauer, Vicky Farmer, and Billy Young, all of Owensboro.
Services will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Peters cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
