Connie Lou Smith, 84, of Frankfort, passed away at 1:33 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Hospice of Central Ohio, Columbus. She was born on Monday, April 3, 1939, in Delbarton WV, a daughter of the late Floyd and Dorthelia Gore Marcum Sr.. She married Johnie D. Smith, of Frankfort, and he survives.
In addition to her husband Johnie, Connie is survived by three sons, Johnny (Rebecca J.) Smith II of Columbus, Michael L. Smith of Frankfort, Todd (Robbie) Smith of Frankfort, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one sister, Pearl E. Marcum of Marysville, one brother, William J. Marcum II of Phoenix AZ, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Connie was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Lynn Smith, a daughter-in-law, Lori Jo Smith, and several brothers and sisters.
Connie graduated from Birch High School in Delbarton WV. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and took great pride and joy in her family.
Friends and family are invited to visit with Connie's family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. In keeping with Connie's wishes, cremation will follow.
