Connie Jo Troyer (Schaeffer), age 65, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on September 28, 1959, on Rickenbacker Air Force Base in Obetz, Ohio. Connie lived a life rooted in family and community.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Rodger Troyer; her sons, Alex (Ariel)Troyer and Jonathan (Chasity)Troyer; and her cherished grandchildren: Lawson, Weston, Camden, Jaxson, O'mair, Charity, Chloe, Colton, and Garrett. Connie was also blessed to see the next generation through her great-grandchildren Roman and Scarlett.
Connie shared a close bond with her sisters Peggy (Roy) Napier and Judy Schaeffer. She also held a special place in the hearts of her extended family, including her mother-in-law Patricia Troyer; brothers-in-law Mark Yoder, Rick (Andra) Troyer, and Randy (Donna) Troyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Juanita Schaeffer; her father-in-law Harold Troyer; and her sister-in-law Nadine Yoder.
May Connie Jo Troyer's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A visitation will take place from 2PM-4PM on Saturday September 20th, 2025 at Ferguson Funeral Home 202 East Main Street Plain City, Ohio 43064. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 PM with Pastor Blaine Keene officiating.
