Connie Wagner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCorkle Funeral Home - Pecatonica on Mar. 16, 2022.
Connie Sue Wagner, 74, passed away on March 3, 2022. Connie was born in Rockford, Illinois
on October 22, 1947. Connie was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She was known for her compassionate nature, kind heart, infectious energy, and goofy personality.
Connie graduated from Auburn High School and went on to receive her LPN license from Rockford Memorial Nursing program. Connie was a nurse in the Rockford area for 15 years. In 1995, Connie eloped with Jerry Wagner on a trip to Sturgis, South Dakota. The marriage was a happy surprise for both the couple and their families. A few years later Connie and Jerry moved to Kingman, Arizona where she continued her career as a school nurse for Manzanita Elementary School and the Kingman School District for the following two decades.
Connie was a devoted Christian with a heart of service to both her family and her community. Connie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, baking, riding motorcycles, creating art, dancing, and volunteering. Her proudest moment was volunteering with the Red Cross to assist after Hurricane Sandy and during the wildfires in Arizona.
She is predeceased in death by her parents Evelyn and Robert Dahl and brother Douglas Dahl.
Connie is survived by husband Jerry Wagner; her four daughters: Carrie McBriar-Echevarria (Jeannette Echevarria), Kellie Knutti (Chad Knutti), Kim McBriar, Kathryn Wagner (Jacob Quigley); stepdaughters: Stella Snyder (Mike Snyder) and Katie Kasten (Martin Kasten); her grandchildren: Logan Knutti, Brylee Knutti, Isaac McBriar, Lila Rodriguez, Kennedy Kasten, Christian Kasten; and her brother Dennis Dahl.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at New Life Bible Church in
