Connie Marie Watson

Connie Marie Watson, 63, of Warren, lost her battle to cancer on August 7, 2024 while surrounded by family.
Connie was born November 23, 1960 in Detroit to the late Edmund and Elanora (nee Rozmyslowicz) Kamyszek. She married Steven Watson on September 27, 1986 at the Centerline Knights of Columbus hall.
Connie enjoyed her flower gardens, bowling and playing cards, especially Euchre. She recently retired from Warren Woods Public Schools. Connie was an active and devoted member of the Ladies Auxiliary in St. Clair Shores. She was known to be selfless, always putting others before her. Connie volunteered at events for the Ladies Auxiliary and Knights of Columbus. She also volunteered for the Warren Woods Public Schools union to ensure her co-workers were always taken care of. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at their property at Cat Lake, where she enjoyed bonfires and the beach. Connie will be greatly missed by anyone that had the honor to know her.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Steve; children Lauren (Ryan) Kriebel and Carolyn Watson; grandchildren McKenzie and Aubrey Kriebel; siblings Angie (Ron) Meredith, Edmund (Zeny) Kamyszek, Judy (Ralph) Frontera, Joan (Bob) Burns, Colleen (Winn) Moore and Brian (Amy) Kamyszek. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Connie was predeceased by her parents Edmund and Elanora Kamyszek and brother Les Kamyszek.
The family honors the memory of Connie and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday, August 14 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mt. Clemens. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visiting at 10:00 a.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mt. Clemens.
