HITCHCOCK – Connor Paul Lopez, a beloved 20-year-old son, was born on January 24, 2005, in Galveston County, Texas to Teresa and Frankie Lopez.
Connor attended local elementary schools and graduated in 2023 from Hitchcock High School.
Following graduation Connor joined his father, Frank, in the family business at Big Boys Tires, where he worked with dedication and pride.
Connor had a deep love for life, but above all he loved Jesus. His faith was central to who he was and he shared it joyfully with others. He would often pass out small baby Jesus figurines as a symbol of his devotion and a gesture of kindness. Connor also enjoyed fishing, hunting and his beloved fur babies Mittens and Peanut.
On April 30, 2025, God called Connor home. Though his time with us was brief, his impact will be lasting.
Connor is survived by his parents, Teresa and Frank; sister, Alyssa; grandmother, Mary Cruz; fur babies, Mittens and Peanut; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and relatives.
Connor's joyful spirit, unwavering faith, and the love he gave so freely will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in our hearts, and we will forever cherish the time we had with him.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Mr. Russell McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
