Robert Frank Cambiano

LA MARQUE – Mr. Robert Frank Cambiano passed from this life Friday evening, April 25, 2025, in Texas City.
Robert Cambiano, a lifelong resident of Hitchcock, TX, was born on October 8, 1938. He graduated from Hitchcock High School and, as a young man, served in the Army National Guard. Robert later earned an associate's degree from the University of Houston and his accounting certification from La Salle University. His professional career spanned 40 years at Dunn Equipment and Dunn Heat Exchangers, where he rose to the position of Chief Financial Officer. A devoted member of his community, Robert attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #10393, and enjoyed playing golf as a member of the Galveston Country Club.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Janet (Tacquard) Cambiano, Jr.; his daughter, Theresa Lynn "Teri" Tarrant; his sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Clarence Matejka; and his brothers, Nick Cambiano and Richard Cambiano, and Richard's wife, Carolyn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sue Cambiano; brothers, Butch Cambiano and wife, Grace, Joseph Cambiano and wife, Wilma; sister-in-law Beverly Cambiano; son-in-law, Kendall Tarrant; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. with a rosary beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Reverend Larry Wilson, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Aldape, David Dunn, Kendall Tarrant, Frank Matejka, Larry Cambiano and Steven Smith.
