Sharon McCulloch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miller Funeral Services - Houston on Mar. 19, 2026.
Sharon McCulloch passed away on March 10, 2026. Born to Ernest and Florence Trial, Sharon was the oldest of six children. She was a dedicated professional who earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and later a master's degree in nursing instruction from the University of Houston. A woman of deep faith and community, she was a proud member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Sugarland, Texas for 40+ years.

Sharon was known as a "wonderful lover of love itself" and "quite a little lady." She found great joy in music, dancing, playing the violin, and the art of Hula.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Tim McCulloch; his daughter, Leanne Blankenship, and her husband Ben; her sons, Steven Hendley and wife Peggy, and Kurt Hendley and wife Kelly. She was the cherished grandmother of Jaden, Kendall, Benjamin, Madelyn, Meghan, Arianna, Gabrielle, Kateri, Chris, Blake, Dyllan, and Caitlyn. Her legacy also lives on through her 15 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings Dan Trial, Deonne Poston, Marcia Spisak Trial, and John Trial, along with their respective families.

Sharon was preceded in death by sons, Daniel McCulloch, and Mark Hendley; her brother, Don Trial; and her parents, Ernest and Florence Trial.

The Lord knows she will be missed by all!

A funeral service will be held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 12627 W Bellfort Ave, Sugar Land, TX 77478 on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
