Conor R. Curtin

Conor Curtin sadly passed away on February 4th 2026. He died peacefully at home with loved ones at his side. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, June Curtin. They married in Cork, Ireland on June 12, 1973. Their love and partnership has been an inspiration and source of strength to so many and will continue to be.

Conor built his career on a dedication to apply science to help and improve people's health. His work contributed to the advancement of medical science, in particular treatments for renal disease. He most recently worked as Senior Vice President for Research & Development at Fresenius Medical Care, where he had a distinguished career and worked with dedication and integrity. He was a proud member of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, and his work was recognized with numerous awards throughout his career.

Beyond his career as a dedicated scientist, Conor's most important and much loved role was with his family. He was the devoted father of 5 children and their spouses: Carol and Heath, Mark and Jean, Jane and Chris, Paul and Austen, and Sienna. He had 5 grandchildren, Sophie, Isaac, Madeleine, Neala and Una. He had three sisters, Patricia, Miriam, and Collette with whom he was lucky to have lifelong friendships. He looked forward to catching up with them every weekend.

Conor loved music and books. He loved to travel and his passion for photography lasted through his entire life. He was a man of great kindness, there is nothing he would not do for the people he loved.

A funeral will be held on Monday February 9th at St. Pius X Church at 10:00 AM

He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
