Conrad Messer, 65, of Centreville, Mississippi was called home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2025.
Conrad loved the Lord with all his heart and was a faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs for many years. More recently, after moving, he and his wife began attending Bethel Tabernacle in Greensburg, where they continued to worship and grow in faith together.
He shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife and best friend, Georgia. The two were inseparable- whether working side by side in the yard, running errands hand in hand, or simply enjoying the gift of each other's company. Their love and friendship were the foundation of his happiest days.
Conrad was a proud father to his son, Nathan, who not only learned from his dad but also taught him much, from navigating the woods to fixing just about anything. Conrad's heart was full of pride and joy when he saw Nathan marry the love of his life, Brittany, and begin building a life together. They shared countless hours outdoors and, in the barn, bonding over projects and life's simple joys.
He had a passion for gardening, taking pride in growing and nurturing plants as he did relationships- with patience, care, and love. Conrad also enjoyed garage selling, tinkering and repairing things, and spending time with his wife, son, and brothers. He never met a stranger, and his kindness, humor, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
Conrad will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his generosity, and his steadfast love for his family, friends, and church. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving brother, and a true friend to many. His legacy of faith and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia of 38 years; his son, Nathan, and daughter-in-law, Brittany; his brothers, Thurston Messer (Nancy), Charleston Messer, and Winston Messer; along with extended family and countless friends who will cherish his memory.
Conrad is now reunited in Heaven with his parents, Silas and Evelyn Messer; his sister, Irene Messer Causey; and his brother, Sherman Messer.
Services celebrating Conrad's life will be held on Thursday at First United Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs, visitation will begin at 9 am until time of the service at 11 am. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Centreville, MS.
