Conrad Paradis Obituary
BRISTOL
Conrad J. Butch Paradis, Jr., 69, of Bristol, died on Monday (January 19, 2026) at Bristol Hospital. Butch was born on September 21, 1956, in Bristol and was a son of Pauline (Poulin) Paradis of Bristol and the late Conrad J. Paradis, Sr. He was a lifelong Bristol resident and graduate of Bristol Eastern High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. where he served for two years. Butch worked as a personal trainer and was the owner of Paradis Fitness for many years. He enjoyed training and bodybuilding and was named Mr. America Over 50 in 2011. He loved his family and cherished the memories he shared with them. In addition to his mother, Butch is survived by his son: Joseph C. Paradis and his wife, Alana of Boca Raton, FL; two siblings: Phil Paradis and wife, Angela of Clinton and Stacey Paradis of Bristol; two grandchildren: Joseph Jr. and Julia; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister: Debby Kulas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (January 31, 2026) at 10:30 a.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday between 9 and 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Rest in peace, Butch. You were always so kind and helpful to my
girls (R & R Cannon) in their successful fitness and body building endeavors. I don't know if the picture is still on the wall, but he had one of their pictures up for quite a while showing how beauty and fitness/muscles can be a perfect blend. Sincerest condolences to the family.
