We gather today to celebrate the life of Conrada Elsa Llanez, affectionately known as Elsa, a beacon of strength and love within her community. Elsa was born on the 26th of November, 1954, in Lamesa, Texas, and she passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.

Elsa's journey began in the small town of Lamesa, where she was raised by her loving parents, Eraclio and Librada (Albidrez) Llanez. She was a sister to many, with two brothers, Pedro (Mary) Llanez and Mario (Patricia) Llanez, and two sisters Adela (Rene) Garza and Catarina Flasshoff, still among us. Elsa was preceded in death by her parents Eraclio and Librada (Albidrez) Llanez, brothers Ursulo, Francisco, and Liborio Llanez, sisters Beatrice Ojeda and Clara Llanez. Elsa's legacy continues through her own vibrant family. She leaves behind a loving brood of six children: Raymond Levario, Arturo Levario, Gilbert (Maria) Levario, Alex (Victoria) Levario, Joanna (Roger) Medina, and Yvonne (Carlos) Guevara. Her life was further enriched by the joy of twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Elsa lived life with fire, laughter, and unconditional love. She was strong, loving, hard-headed, and stubborn in all the best ways. Her favorite color was black, and she had a deep appreciation for carnations and all her plants. Gardening in her yard brought her peace and joy, and she had a tender heart for animals, rescuing turtles and dogs whenever she could.

A compassionate and dedicated caregiver, Elsa worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at numerous nursing homes throughout her life. Her patience, kindness, and devotion to the elderly left a lasting impact on everyone she cared for.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Elsa was devoted to her grandchildren, who lovingly called her the best grandma in the entire world. She poured her heart into her family, and her love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will start 2 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday September 24 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. It will continue in the 24 hr. Chapel on Thursday September 25, with a rosary at 7 pm. Funeral service will be 11 am Friday September 26 in 24 hr.

Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and condolences may be sent online to the family at acreswestfuneral.com.
