Constance Marlene Broady, a cherished wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 80. Born on July 9, 1944, in Ohio, Constance lived a fulfilling life marked by her dedication to her family, faith, and passions.
Constance spent her career as a dedicated waitress, where she touched the lives of many with her warm smile and kind heart. She was known for her love of reading, often found with a book in hand, exploring new worlds through the pages. Her commitment to her faith was steadfast, demonstrated by her active involvement in the Church of Christ community, where she found fellowship and purpose.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harry and Leona Mesnard, her sister Nancy Cobb, her brother Richard Mesnard, and her brother-in-law, Donald W. Broady Sr. Their memories were forever cherished and held dear in her heart.
Constance leaves behind a devoted husband, James D. Broady, who was her partner in life and love. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Davis, and her aunt, Doris Wiceman. Her family extended to her sister-in-law, Barbara J. Broady, and her nephews: Donald W. Broady Jr. (Michelle), Ronald Broady (Jennifer). Great-nephew Trevor Broady and her great-nieces: Taylor Broady, Samantha Broady and Casey Davis.
Constance's warmth and wisdom will be missed by all who knew her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will be remembered with great fondness.
