Snow Shoe, Pennsylvania - Constance J. "Connie" Bucha, 84, of Snow Shoe, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Centre Care Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born on January 29, 1938, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Skripek) Krokoski. On October 13, 1956, in Snow Shoe, she married William A. "Bill" Bucha. They celebrated 58 years of marriage before Bill passed away on January 15, 2015.
Connie was a 1955 graduate of Snow Shoe High School. She was a homemaker.
Connie enjoyed playing the piano, polka dancing, and going to the Twin Hollow Camp. She liked to take her children to the beach, even though she was not fond of the sand but loved to walk on the board walk and watch her kids play in the ocean. She had beautiful flower gardens and enjoyed tending to her flowers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her children; Robert Bucha and his wife, Rhonda, of Runville, Ronald Bucha and his wife, Denise, of Moshannon, William E. Bucha, Sr. and his wife, Stacey, of State College, and Tina Seifert and her husband, Jon, of Duncannon. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren: Toby, Lance, Samantha, Ashley, Billy, Jr. Thomas, Tristan, and Brayden; five great grandchildren, and one sister, Rita Schall of Clarence.
Along with her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by one sister, Dolores Burke.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 10-11:30am with a rosary service at 11:15am at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 12 noon at the Queen of Archangels Parish Church in Clarence with Father Michael Wolfe officiating. She will be laid to rest beside Bill at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Snow Shoe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Queen of Archangels Parish Church, 102 Church St., Clarence, PA 16829.
