Constance Noreen "Connie" Buckingham, 59, of Kingwood, WV, unexpectedly passed away Friday, May 30, 2025.
She was born in Morgantown, WV, on May 15, 1966, a daughter of the late Kenneth Allen Sapp Sr and Ethel Evelyn Irene (Miller) Sapp.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A lifelong homemaker, she found deep joy in the simple, meaningful moments of everyday life. She had a creative spirit and a gentle soul, often expressing herself through laughter and cracking jokes. She also enjoyed, watching the Steelers play football. Her parents lovingly gave her the nickname "My little coffee maker". She poured her heart into raising her children and nurturing a home filled with laughter, kindness, and unconditional love. Her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren. She had a helping hand in raising many kids and assisting friends and neighbors in her community.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Guy V. Buckingham; three daughters, Ethel Haught and wife Kristy, Latasha Buckingham and Connie Buckingham; three grandchildren, Todd Buckingham, Lakrista Buckingham and Chloe Williams; and great grandchild, Kristlyn Buckingham; one sister, Tracey Shahan and one brother, Kenneth Sapp Jr, and many other extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Heart and her mother-in-law, Mary Buckingham.
Friends may visit at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 11 am until the 1 pm time of service with Rev. Ray Frankhouse officiating.
