Constance Marie Busa was born on December 3rd, 1941, to loving parents Paul and Josephine Busa, the youngest sister of the late Joseph (Jeri) Busa and Rosemary Vander Velpen. She is survived by her sons Bart and Michael DeBoey, her nieces, Cheryl Peneschi, Gayle and Wendy Busa, her nephews John (Charlene), Paul, and Michael (Karen) Busa, as well as her many great nieces and nephews including Christen (Dave), Rachel (Jakob), Vincent, Alexis, Justin (Meghan), Nicholas (Haley), Natalie, Sophia, Joseph, Rosemary, Kaden, and Emersyn.
Connie spent her professional years in a variety of roles, including positions in retail with Hallmark and many years in administration at Harper College, always displaying her trademark care and organizational skills.
She was a loving person… who adored her family, the holidays, cooking, baking, and gardening. She could never sit still, was always active, and would drop everything to help and support others.
She passed on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, due to complications from cancer.
Connie will be loved and missed by those she loved and those who loved her, as well as all of the lives she touched.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 4-7pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10am at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Entombment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside,Illinois.
