Connie Coxhead, 100, of Indianapolis passed away December 11, 2025. Connie was born in Utica, New York on January 23, 1925, to the parents of Jean Boratynski and Leo Stackowitz. She graduated from Watertown high school in New York.
Connie was proceeded in death by her husband Glenn.
Connie has survived by her children Steven Coxhead (Sandy), Janice Rockey (Ron), Jeff Coxhead (Pauline), and Patti Teays (Paul), her six wonderful grandchildren and her four beautiful, great grandchildren.
Connie enjoyed a long life of ice skating, roller skating, sewing, dancing, reading, gardening, painting and a daily dose of chocolate. She was known for her sense of humor and mottos: “Why not?!?” and “Only the shadow knows and he ain't telling!”
A visitation will be held in her honor 11am-12pm December 18th, 2025, with a service to follow at 12, all will take place at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East Funeral Home.
