Constance M. "Connie" (Darr) McNabb, 79, of Fairview, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Millcreek Community Hospital.
She was born in Erie on November 29, 1942, a daughter of the late William L. and Virginia M. (Miller) Darr.
Connie graduated from Academy High School in 1960. As a young girl of fifteen, she began work at G.C. Woolworth's in Erie. Following high school her dream was to be married and on December 3, 1960, she married Robert W. McNabb, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2018.
She was well known in the area for raising Quarter horses and Paints supporting her daughter in much work and weekend horse shows. She assisted with the Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, (PONY Association); the Western PA Jr. Quarter Horse Association and loved card night and couples' dinner nights with close friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William L. Darr Jr.
Connie will be greatly missed by her family, which include a daughter, Merritt Grace Dill (Thomas) of Erie; a son, Robert W. McNabb Jr. (Patty) of Lake City; her grandchildren, Taylor R. McNabb, Paige R. Potter (Kyle), Jack R. Dill and Grace E. Dill; a great grandchild, Logan Bennett Potter and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5PM to the time of a Memorial Service at 7PM at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard with Kristen Blucas officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie County Diabetes Association, 1128 State St. #302, Erie, PA 16501.
