It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Constance Ann (Mathieu) Densmore, 84, of Mashpee who passed on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
She was a devoted mother, raising four boys, and one girl who she loved dearly. She loved arts and crafts, and her drawings were remarkable even though in her eyes, they were never good enough. She loved animals, especially horses. Once her children were grown, she spent years working at various nursing facilities doing what she did best, caring for others. Later on, she filled her time driving buses for school transportation systems. In recent years, she volunteered a lot of her time working at the Yarmouth Police department, which she enjoyed. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow up. Up until very recently, she loved going to her children's homes for a great meal, countless games of Uno and lots of laughs.
Connie was always willing to help anyone that needed it with a smile on her face and love in her heart. When her mother suffered a stroke, Connie did not hesitate to put her own needs aside to care for her mom. A devoted daughter, Connie cared for her until her mom passed. She was always there for anyone in need.
She leaves her children, Brian Lamoureux and his husband Steve Potts of Sandwich, Kevin Lamoureux and his wife Chelly of Osterville, a daughter, Cheryl Jacobson and her husband Peter (who passed away in 2024) of Mashpee, Scott Lamoureux and his wife Sharon of Marstons Mills and James Lamoureux and his wife Caroline of Yarmouth Port, seven grandchildren Nick, Charlie, Sydney, Samantha, Rachel, Coleman and William Lamoureux, along with three great grandchildren Mikah, Willow and Zaiden.
Connie was predeceased by her first husband, Norman Lamoureux, who passed in 1980, her husband Walter Densmore and her brother George Matthew Jr.
Connie's family would like to extend their grateful thanks to the staff at the Pavilion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hyannis for the great care they provided during her recent stay.
