Constance (Eaves) Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thurston Rowe Funeral Home on Dec. 24, 2025.
Constance Carroll Eaves Peck (August 17, 1937 - December 4, 2025) lived her life with equal parts kindness and spunk. As a teen working in a diner, she famously overfilled jelly donuts for special customers-including a tall, handsome young man named George, whom she married in 1955. Together they built a loving life in Connecticut and raised two daughters, Carroll and Cheryl.

Determined and hardworking, Connie later attended Torrington Beauty Academy and fulfilled her dream of owning her own salon, Cut Ups in Litchfield. Her grit, humor, and gift for listening made her a beloved friend to many. Whether at her salon, at weddings with Photography by Dalla Valle, or in any workplace, Connie's charisma and compassion drew people in.

A creative soul, she loved painting, reading, writing letters, journaling, gardening and exploring the outdoors. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, inventing treasured traditions like "Nana's Blue Light Special" each Christmas Eve-guaranteed laughter included.

Connie loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and served two full-time missions. As a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she spent her life lifting and loving others.

She is predeceased by her husband George Peck and survived by her husband John Bullard, her daughters Carroll Hudak and Cheryl (Jeff) Ganoe, eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

In true Connie fashion, she requested no formal services. Instead, she invited anyone wishing to honor her to perform an act of service or send someone a heartfelt card-spreading the same warmth she shared so freely.
