Constance L. Jones, 74, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Thursday October 3, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 13, 1950 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Vernon and Dorothy (Fauber) Compher. On August 8, 1969, she married John F. Jones, who preceded her in death on August 7, 2014.
Surviving is her mother, Dorothy Compher, Chillicothe; daughter, Zarron (Troy) Moore, son, Jason Jones, and daughter-in-law, Jody Jones, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ethan (Karley) Jones, Taylor (Jason) Simkins, Sydney Jones (Zach), Garrett Jones (Cassie), Cloé Jones (Thomas), Jessamine Jones, and Zebulin Moore (Alizia), great-grandchildren, Lane and Olivia Jones, and Carlisle and Temperance Simkins, sisters, Debra Whitt, Janice Runyon, and Polly Compher, a brother, Dwite (Vickie) Compher, several nieces and nephews, and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her father, husband, and her son, Adamjon Jones.
Constance had worked as a Natural Science Biologist Technician for the National Parks Service, with 20 years of service, and was a member of the Scioto Valley Bird and Nature Club. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Please join us in the Celebration of Life for Constance Jones on Sunday October 27, 2024 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Scioto Township Hall, 164 S. Watt St., Chillicothe.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Scioto Valley Bird and Nature Club, www.svbnc.org. The family would like to invite those to plant a tree and/or feed the birds in memory of Constance.
