Ronald Wayne Bennett

Ronald Wayne Bennett, 66, of Chillicothe unexpectedly passed from this life on Friday, February 7, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1958 in Chillicothe, the son of Ronald and Loretta (Payne) Bennett who survive. On June 18, 1978 he married the love of his life, the former Debbie Meeker.
Surviving are his loving wife, Debbie Bennett; children, Jason Bennett, Andy (Jennifer) Bennett, and Sarah (Ryan) Fisher; grandchildren, Brody Bennett and Kohlson and Ivy Fisher siblings, John (Pam) Bennett, Rob Bennett, Kim (Bryan) Dye, and Kate Merritt; mother-in-law, Gwynneth Meeker; special friends, Donnie (Rose Betts) Elder and Ferrill Perry and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ramona and father-in-law, Ronald G. Meeker.
Wayne retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Engineering Department after 30 years of services. He enjoyed cruising his property on his golf cart, watching the bird feeders, tending to the flowers and gardens, telling long stories, sharing useless knowledge and facts, but most of all spending time with his precious grandbabies, who were his entire world.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday. An online memorial is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.
