Constance Konnick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Weber Funeral Home at Ridge on Sep. 23, 2025.
Constance "Connie" Konnick, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, departed her earthly home August 23rd at 89 years old. She is joyfully reunited with her parents, Mary and Edmund Sechowitz.

Born in Sellersville, Connie dedicated 35 years of service to AT&T. As a passionate practitioner and instructor of Tai Chi, she found great meaning working with those with dementia in local residential care communities. She will be remembered for her intelligence, warmth, sense of humor, and deep compassion for others.

A devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she gave her all to those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Andrew, her children, Mark and Scot Dantzer, daughters-in-law, Jill Dantzer and Linda Niemeyer and stepson, Troy, and wife, Peg. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Zachary Dantzer and Trevor Poudrier, and sister, Amelia, and husband, Edward Howe.

She was especially grateful for the many dear friends she made throughout her life.

Memorial service will be held October 4 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1933 Hanover Ave. in Allentown. Calling hours will begin at 10:00 AM, with the service to follow. Private interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter's in Connie's memory.

Such a wonderful woman and friend, Connie will be missed. Along with her husband, Andy, they were the very best of friends anyone could ask for. Connie and I solved all the problem of the world in our talks, and she and Andy were a great support during the loss of my husband, Frank. Connie was always there to help and support, and a ray of sunshine in my life. Our visits and conversations always ended with a smile on my face.
