Constance Joan Laughlin, 76, of Cave Creek, Arizona, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Connie was born on March 31, 1949, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to George and Orie Spiegel. She grew up in Castle Shannon and graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in 1967. For many years she lived in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, before moving west to Arizona to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

On October 27, 1973, Connie married the love of her life, Donald Laughlin, and together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and unconditional love. Her devotion to her four children and five grandchildren was boundless, her children were the joy of her life, and her grandchildren became her world. She created a foundation of love and strength that allowed her family to grow into the confident, grounded, and grateful people they are today.

Connie had a deep gift for making people feel seen, loved, and welcomed. She treated her children's friends like her own and had a rare ability to make anyone feel at home. She was the heart of every holiday, the warm host of every gathering, and the source of countless meals, memories, and traditions that will live on forever. Known for her talent as a seamstress, designer, baker, and hostess, she poured her love into everything she touched.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Donald Laughlin; her four children, Douglas Laughlin of Cave Creek, AZ; Gregory Laughlin of Phoenix, AZ; David (Andrea) Laughlin of Gilbert, AZ; and Jill (Thomas) Manganas of Canonsburg, PA; and her five cherished grandchildren: River and Arrow Love Laughlin; and Thomas, Maxim, and Nicolas Manganas. She is also survived by her twin sister, Cindy Byrnes (Jeff Einhouse) of Glen Burnie, MD, and loving nieces Tricia Hook, Michelle Byrnes, and Tenille Dewees, and nephews Matthew Byrnes and Kevin Byrnes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Orie Spiegel; her brother George Spiegel; and brother-in-law Mickey Byrnes.

Connie will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barrow Neurological Foundation at https://www.supportbarrow.org, in honor of Connie's strength and journey.
