Constance Perrier, 57, of Hartford, CT, passed away on November 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on September 13, 1968, in Hartford, CT, Constance was a vibrant, caring, and endlessly sweet soul who touched every life she encountered.
Constance was known for her warm, contagious smile and her natural ability to make others laugh. A true jokester at heart, she carried a lightness and kindness that made people feel instantly at ease. For many years, she worked as a bus monitor for CREC schools, where she greeted students each day with patience, humor, and genuine care. A gifted crafter, Constance loved creating handmade soaps, bookmarks, and coasters-items she often shared with friends and family. She was also an avid fan of the Game Show Network and found joy in simple pleasures like watching her favorite films, The Five Heartbeats and The Color Purple. In the kitchen, she shined just as brightly; her baked ziti and dirty rice were beloved staples at family gatherings.
Constance cherished time spent with loved ones. Family trips to Cape Cod brought her great happiness-she especially loved seafood, with clam strips being a favorite treat. She also enjoyed memorable girls' trips with her sister-cousins, the most recent being to Puerto Rico.
She is survived by her daughters, A'kacia Pace ( Carlton Jenkins) and Monae Perrier; her son, Jayden Perrier; her grandson, Levi Jenkins; her mother, Laura Lee Pace of East Hartford; her father, Bobby Lee Pace Sr. (of North Carolina); her brother, Bobby Lee Pace Jr.; and a host of close cousins, aunts, and uncles. Constance was preceded in death by family members who welcomed her home with open arms.
Constance was sweetly saved and didn't miss the chance to tell others about Jesus and invite many friends and family to church. Faith was a strong pillar in her life that she passed on to her children.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m., at Christ Church of Deliverance, located at 159 Blue Hills Avenue in Hartford, CT. A burial service will take place on December 1, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery, 26 Mountain Avenue, Bloomfield, CT., at 10:00 am
