Constance Vaughn Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 14, 2025.
Constance Ann Vaughn, affectionately known as Connie, was born on August 20, 1957, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Cora Mae (Miller) Vaughn and Willie Vaughn. On October 5, 2025, Connie peacefully departed this life, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Connie was known for her lively spirit, warm heart, and the joy she brought to everyone she met. She loved spending her time playing bingo, enjoying a little gambling, and most of all, being social with those she cared about. Connie had a gift for laughter and friendship-her presence could light up any room, and she cherished the strong bonds she built with her many dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Cora and Willie Vaughn, as well as her nephew Herman Johnson, niece Ebony Johnson, and grandaughter Khamyah.
Connie leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted children Coleman (Elissa) Moore, Nicholas, and Marcus (Becky)Vaughn and her daughter Tominka Vaughn; her loving sister Veronica McConaga and brother Gene Vaughn, both of Milwaukee; and her nephew Aleric Vaughn. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren LaCora Armstrong, Danny Armstrong, Antoinnette Sanders, Quinten Moore, McKena Moore, Alexis Lawhorn, Azyia, Antoine Sanders, and Sydnee Vaughn.
Connie's vibrant personality, her sense of humor, and her love for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
A celebration of Connie's life will be held on October 25, 2025 at the Lodge at Rush Lake 433 US-20, La Porte, IN 46350 from 1pm to 5pm, where family and friends will gather to honor the beautiful life she lived and the joy she gave to all who knew her.
