Consuelo Celis Obituary
Consuelo Tuaño Celis, aged 95, peacefully departed on January 7th, 2024.
Born on September 15th, 1928, in Mandaluyong, Philippines, Consuelo entered holy matrimony with Guillermo in 1951, and together they were blessed with eight children. Throughout the years, Consuelo served as the heart of the family, embodying unwavering dedication as a loving wife and mother. Following Guillermo's passing, Consuelo relocated to the United States in 2003 to be closer to her children.
Consuelo had an uplifting spirit, radiated happiness, and was a devoted follower of Jesus. She never hesitated to offer heartfelt prayers, both with and for her family. With her angelic voice, she could always be heard singing praises to the Lord or joyfully engaged in karaoke. Consuelo illuminated the lives of those around her and she will be dearly missed.
Consuelo is survived by her five daughters-Arsenia (Fernando) Fabros, Isabelita del Rosario, Ofelia Celis, Consuelo (Frederick) Tandoc, Marie Michelle (Ariel) Dy-along with her son Ulysses (Eunice) Celis, 23 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Jose Celis, and her two sons, Guillermo Celis Jr. and Ernesto Celis.
A memorial service to honor Consuelo will take place at Legacy Funeral Home, located at 1374 N. Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225, on January 27th, 2024, at 11 am.
