Consuelo Rodriguez

Consuelo Rodriguez Cavero born on Nov 15, 1942, in Lima, Peru, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, peacefully at her home, at the age of 82. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother, she was a longtime resident of New Orleans and a resident of Lacombe for the past 15 years.

Consuelo graduated from high school in Lima Peru, was a paralegal for several years, and in sales for Latin Hand in the French quarter with her mother for over 10 years, she arrived in the United States in 1959, where she resided New Orleans.

She was married twice, first to Nelson Perry and later to Cesar Rodriguez. Consuelo is proceeded in death by her father Jose Cavero Bendesu, Mother Aida R Murray, Grandson Andrew Perry, and son Michael Rodriguez. She was survived by her son Dennis Perry, her brother's, Jose R Cavero , Jose Cavero Eggerstata, Lucho Cavero Eggerstata, her sister's Vilma Stilley, and Angelita Cavero Eggertata, she is survived by her Grandchildren, Kristen Perry, Ciera Perry Jenkins, Jessica Bonnette Philip, Giany Rodriguez, Angelina Rodriguez and is survived by 10 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, her family loved her very much and she will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, LA on Thursday, April 3, 2025 with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and the Service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will conclude at Eternal Rest Cemetery.
