Steven Rabalais Obituary
Steven Paul “Stevie/Steve” Rabalais, age 64, entered his eternal rest on December 4, 2025 at his home in Slidell, Louisiana. Born March 2, 1961 in New Orleans, Steve grew up in Chalmette and graduated from Chalmette High School in 1979.
Steve was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM Union), working as a machinist/millwright for many companies during his career.Steve was preceded in death by his loving parents James Harding “Rab” Rabalais, Sr. and Leona Brouillette Rabalais.
He is survived by his brother James H. “Jim/Sonny” Rabalais, Jr. (Rosanna), sister Jeanne Rabalais Treuil (Steve), nephew, nieces, loving family and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Our Lady Prompt Succor Church (2320 Paris Rd, Chalmette, LA 70043) at 11:00 AM, mass at 12:00 PM. Inurnment to follow at St. Bernard Memorial Cemetery.
