CONSUELO MARÍA RAMÍREZ SÁNCHEZ

Born on September 3, 1928, in Semana Santa, San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic.

Doña Consuelo was a fighter and a warrior from a very young age. She had a strong interest in business and dedicated much of her life to that work. She was an honorable, devoted woman, loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In 1990, Mama Consuelo made the decision to leave the Dominican Republic and come to the United States in search of a better future. Our beloved Consuelo leaves behind a family who will always remember her. She had 6 children: Luz María (Lorgia), Rosa Maribel, Mircida Amalia, José Antonio, Angel, and Manuel Bienvenido, as well as Daysi Romero and Arismendy. Through them, she leaves behind a large and loving family.

She is survived by 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-great-grandchild, along with the husbands and wives of each of us, and many other family members and loved ones.

We are more than grateful for the life God allowed her to have. She always carried a spirit of travel, and the desire and hope of one day winning the lottery. Even though she never won the lottery, she won the love, respect, and admiration of everyone who knew her throughout her long life, full of health and blessings from God.
