Arthur G. Heitzenroder

Arthur George Heitzenroder, of Farmingdale, passed away at JSUMC on March, 11, 2026 at the age of 89. He was devoted to his wife and family. Arthur was a generous and kind-hearted individual. He loved his family and friends, enjoying their special times together. Arthur loved going on cruises with family and senior bus tours with his wife. He enjoyed playing Scrabble, rummy cubes and puzzles. He was a communicant of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Farmingdale. He started working after high school and learned how to cut meat. He became a butcher for A & P Tea Co. and worked his way up to an office job as a financial advisor in meats and retired after 60 years. Arthur is predeceased by his parents, his beautiful daughter, Lisa Snow and his sister Anna DeSantis. Surviving are his beloved wife of 68 years, Elizabeth Heitzenroder, son Arthur Heitzenroder, III and his wife Barbara, his daughter Theresa Messer and her husband Jeff, son-in-law Larry, brother-in-laws Fred and Bob, his sisters, Diane Fahey and Alma Morgan, 4 grandchildren, Daniel, Nori, Laura and Leilani, 5 great grandchildren, Avianna, Laila, Genna, Kobe and Amber as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
