To my husband Mike Heitzenroeder and I, Adam was more than a cousin, he was a friend. I will miss the great talks about everything from nature to politics. He knew more about nature than anyone I know. He was funny and kind. He loved his family and friends and would help anyone with anything. He helped us build a deck and put in doors, he was a wonderful carpenter and could build anything. He will be missed more than words can say. Until we meet again....

As Adam"s cousin Mike I always felt more like a brother. During those infamous duck hunting trips we talked about everything from politics to cartoons we watched as children. Adam was a very passionate man about everything that he did. His love for the outdoors was only surpassed by his love for his wife Cindy and his children. I can say that with ultimate certainty as that is what we spoke of the most. I will miss you my brother.
