Waynesville, Cooper Alaina LaGreca, age 13, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at her residence.
A native of Greenwood, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Jillian and Anthony LaGreca. Cooper was a beautiful and vivacious young girl, filled with love and generosity. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Cooper loved animals, especially Cameron’s squirrely cat, George and her dog, JJ. Her friends were her world, and she will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her grandparents, David and Pamela Floyd, of Waynesville; Janet and Eddie Brown, of Hodges, South Carolina and Betty LaGreca, of Abbeville, South Carolina; Great-grandparents, C.D. “BO” Padgett, of Waynesville and Norma Jean Rucker and Willie Floyd, both of Cayce, South Carolina; and a half-sister, MacKenzi Babb.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
