Cora Marian Humphreys died on June 17th, 2025 at the age of 103 years. She was born on September 27th, 1921 in Wheeler County, Oregon. She Attended Mitchell High School and graduated from Salem High School. She received a Bachelors of Science degree from Oregon College of Education.
She married Trevor Raymond Humphreys in 1942 at Fort Lewis, Washington. Her husband died in January of 1999.
She taught school in Fox Valley, Willamina, Keizer, Salem, Portland, and Molalla. She was a member of First Christian Church of Salem, Colton Lutheran Church, and Holy Cross Lutheran of Salem.
Cora is survived by her sister Dorothy Eshleman (Earl Eshleman), Sister in law Aloha Cannon, daughters Helen Humphreys and Nancy Winterbourne, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment was at Willamette National Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at Restlawn Funeral Home.
Remembrances can be made by planting flowers and doing a kind deed.
