Cordelia M. Kuether, of Sheboygan, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was 4 years old.
Cordelia was born to Devon Kuether and Ezra Cruz on December 31, 2018, in Sheboygan. She currently attended Here We Grow and was signed up to attend the Leadership Academy.
Cordelia was a ray of light in everybody’s life. She was always bossy, sassy, and quirky. Cordelia was so smart and was able to write her own name and was already doing addition and subtraction. She loved mermaids and her favorite shows to watch were Gabby’s Dollhouse and Bluey. She loved water and being outside, especially when they caught frogs and fish in the summertime. She loved meeting new friends, person or animal, and nobody stayed a stranger for long once Cordelia met them. She had an inquisitive nature and a bursting love and excitement for everything around her, big and small.
Cordelia is survived by her parents, Devon Kuether and Ezra Cruz; sister, Lillith; grandparents, Risha “Grandma Chick Chick” Capetillo, Angela “Grandma Angie” (Brian “Papa”) Schuessler, Travis (Paula “Yaya” Leone) Kuether; great-grandparents, including special great-grandma, Carol Capetillo; uncles, Uncle Charlie, Derrick, Hayden “Bubba”, Hunter, Colby; friends and many great-uncles and aunts.
She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Jorge Cruz; great-grandma, Diane Hermann; and great-grandpa, Glenn Kuether.
A private family memorial service to honor Cordelia’s life will be held.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at Wenig Funeral Home, 108 Center Ave. in Oostburg on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 1:30-4:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Cordelia’s name. Memorials should be made out to Devon Kuether or Ezra Cruz, and will be directed to the family by Wenig Funeral Home.
