Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - TopekaCorey Matthew Bomhoff, 54, of Topeka, passed away on October 3, 2025 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
He was born on August 7, 1971 to Randy Blake and Dixie Lee (Edwards) Bomhoff in Topeka, Kansas.
Corey dedicated the past 15 years of his career to Frito-Lay, where he was not only a valued employee but also a trusted friend to many. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine kindness helped him build lasting friendships with his colleagues.
Corey lived in Topeka and was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. He took pride in being there for his family through every moment—big or small—and was always the first to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer his support. Corey touched so many people in positive ways throughout his life; he never met a stranger and had countless friends who loved him dearly. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as traveling and discovering new places. He had a gift for bringing laughter and light to any room he entered, and his easygoing, free-spirited personality made him cherished by everyone who knew him. More than anything, Corey’s heart belonged to his family, and his love for them will continue to be felt in the memories and stories they share.
Corey is survived by his mother; Dixie Bomhoff, brother; Blake Bomhoff Jr.; sons; Shawn Bomhoff, Ryan B. Bomhoff, and Corey M. Bomhoff II; grandchildren; Michael Bomhoff, Matthew Bomhoff, Miles Bomhoff, Caden Bomhoff, and Callie Bomhoff.
He was preceded in death by his father; Randy Blake Bomhoff
