***DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, SERVICES SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2023, ARE CURRENTLY POSTPONED.***
Corey V. Myers, 47, of Breckenridge, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Services are pending at this time, please continue to check back for updates.
Corey was born on October 6, 1976, to Jack and Barbara (Feist) Myers in Fargo, ND. Much of his life growing up was spent in Lisbon, ND, where he wrestled, worked at his uncle’s Café, and graduated from high school. After graduation, he worked for a few different companies until finding his career with Bobcat. On August 8, 1998, Corey married Sarah (Wheeler) Araya and in February of 2000, they welcomed their only son, Tanner.
Traveling to Florida to spend time on the beach and people watch was one of Corey’s favorite activities. He also loved going to casinos and gambling; collecting stamps, baseball, and football cards; and watching the Eagles play. Corey was outgoing, funny, and a practical joker whose goal in life was to make everyone laugh.
Surviving Corey is his son, Tanner (Delaney Peterson) Myers; his mother, Barbara Feist; brother, Jack “Smacker” Myers; nephews, Brandon and Bryan Myers; niece, Brianna Myers; and special aunt, Lori Hauf.
Preceding him in death was his father, Jack Myers.
