Corey Michael Truitt, 33, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on November 6, 2022.
He was born in Pensacola, Florida on August 15, 1989 to Michael and Larren Truitt. He was married to Jessica Truitt for 6 years and they had five children. Corey had a career in roofing sales and worked for several roofing companies. He was a member of Grace Valley Baptist Church and attended Hillcrest Church. Corey had a passion for the outdoors, fishing, guns, and his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Truitt; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Walker; and many other family members and Fallen Comrades.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Truitt; children, Emery Truitt, Ryanne Steiner, Naomi Truitt, Killian Truitt, and Arwyn Truitt; mother, Larren Truitt; brother, Jourdan (Arely) Truitt and their four children; grandfather, Ted Walker and Mrs. Betty; grandparents, Carolyn and Jim Vary; many aunts; uncles; and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. prior to services. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with David Ruffin officiating at Faith Chapel North. Pallbearers are Jourdan Truitt, Steven Noud, Jason Bartl, Jay Johnson, Stewart Kirksey, and Jake Caglian. David Hand will be an Honorary Pallbearer. Burial will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
