Corie Jean Jones

Corie Jean Jones, born on April 18th, 1968, in Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away peacefully on August 25th, 2025, at the age of 57, surrounded by her family in Empire, California.

Born in Grants Pass, Oregon, Corie spent most of her life in and around Modesto, California. She lived a life filled with quiet strength, creativity, and deep devotion to her family. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a loyal friend whose warm and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.

Corie is survived by her children, Errica Renee Wyatt, Justin Michael Jones, and Emilee Alisha Jones; and her cherished granddaughter, Payton Aubree Jones. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into every moment shared with them.

A talented and creative soul, Corie found happiness in the simple things. She loved coloring, beading, and cooking-often sharing her handmade crafts and delicious meals with those she cared about. Her hobbies were not just pastimes, but expressions of the love and care she gave so freely.

Corie will be remembered for her kind heart, her gentle nature, and the way she made others feel seen and cared for. She was the type of person who would help anyone-whether she'd known them for years or just met them. Her compassion knew no boundaries, and her willingness to lend a hand, a listening ear, or a warm meal left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

Her memory lives on in the lives she touched, the meals she shared, and the love she gave without hesitation.

A private memorial will be held by the family to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, friends and loved ones are encouraged to honor Corie by sharing a memory, creating something beautiful, or performing an act of kindness in her name.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
