Cornelia Bradley, of Millsboro, DE peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Genesis Nursing Home in Milford, DE. Cornelia, well known to many as "Niecy" was born on October 23, 1947, to the late Ernest Powell and Lumsie Powell.
Cornelia attended William C. Jason High School. Cornelia worked at Mountaire Farms as a supervisor and housekeeping department for over thirty (30) years, after many years of service she retired.
Cornelia always enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, her late husband, John Bradley. They always spent days and nights out sitting at Wawa and Bodies during their midnight rides spending time together. Niecy loved going to the Harrington Slots, she enjoyed bringing her family together for family barbecues and other family gathering, she always enjoyed the presence of her family. Niecy enjoyed helping and feeding others within the community.
Cornelia enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her loving grandchildren, Ayana, Anayah, Josiah and Jayde' whom all lived with her.
Cornelia was a member at Bethel AME Church in Milton, DE under the leadership of Rev. Braven O. Duffie. She became a faithful member and mother of God's House of Deliverance Outreach Ministries, Inc. under the leadership of her son, Apostle Therman Hopkins Sr. She would always tell her son "When you start your church, I will be there."
Cornelia was preceded in death by her husband, John Bradley; daughter, Tammy Hopkins; father, Ernest Powell; mother, Lumsie Powell; brothers, Charles Harrel, Otis Harris, Alexander Harris, William Harris, Alfonzo Branch; sisters, Thelma Burton, Lillian Littlejohn, Martha Powell; son, Brian Bradley; granddaughter, Myeisha Everette.
Cornelia leaves to cherish her memories to her three sons, Therman Hopkins Sr., (Rosalind), Anthony Hopkins, William Hopkins Jr.; brothers, Marvin Powell, Ernest Powell Jr. (Vanessa); sisters, Jennie West (Rudolph), Beatrice Sample; grandsons, Donye Everette, Therman Hagans, Therman Hopkins Jr., Montgomery Sturgis Jr., Josiah Savage; granddaughters, Deborah "Nish" Hawkins, Ebony Hopkins, Anayah Bradley, Ayana Bradley, Lyrics Hopkins, Courtney Piper, and her special niece, Sabrina Neal; sisters-in-aw, Fairy Thomas (Phillip), Carolyn Snead (Larry), Doretha Shaw (Adolph), Deborah Breeland, brother-in-law, Rufus Cave; daughter-in-law Carolyn Bradley. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
