Corrine M. Headrick, 93, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home in Corydon surrounded by her family. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 28, 1931 the daughter of Willie and Glynolyn Kasten Wheat. Earlier in life she was employed by Keller Manufacturing in Corydon, had been a seamstress for the old Town & Country Store in Corydon and was a school bus driver for the South Harrison School Corporation for 27 years. She was an avid quilter and was a member of Pfrimmer's Chapel in Corydon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Isaac Headrick, a son Jerry Headrick, 2 brothers, Kermit and Merrill Wheat. She is survived by a son, Gary Headrick of Corydon, IN; daughters, Pat Boggs (Rodney), Vicki Kitterman (Garry), Gail Carver (Elmer) all of Corydon, IN and Donna McCuen (Mike) of Seattle, WA; sister, Audrey Compton of Warsaw, MO; grandchildren, Mandy Headrick Harmon, Misha Headrick Caldwell, Courtney Boggs Montfort, Drew Kitterman, Christopher Boggs, Corey Kitterman, Sarah Carver Smith, Aaron McCuen, Mathew Carver, Emily McCuen Meyring, Haley McCuen Hupp and Colleen Kitterman Johnson; and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pfrimmer's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday, December 6, 2024 and again from 9 AM until the service at 11 AM all at the funeral home in Corydon, IN. The family would like to take this opportunity the thank all those at SouthernCare Hospice for the great care Corrine was given and the family would like memorial gifts to be made to SouthernCare Hospice, at 811 Northgate Blvd. #101, New Albany, Indiana or through the funeral home.
