Corrine Woodcock, 88, passed away June 21, 2024.
She was born March 17, 1936, in Butler County, Kentucky, to Brewer and Annie Cardwell.
After a brief career as an executive secretary at RCA in Indianapolis, she became a very accomplished fulltime home maker. She possessed many talents. She was an expert seamstress and avid gardener.
She is survived by the following immediate family members:
Children: Vickie Hatfield (Jack), Danny Woodcock, Barbara Van Tassel (William), and Theresa Rice
Grandchildren: Rachel Payne, Ebon Hampton, David Benn, Hanna Benn, and Rebecca Mullins
Great Grandchildren: Blake, Hailey, Brewer, and Montgomery
GG Grandchildren: Brinlee, Archie, and Hayden Rose
Sister In-Law: Betty Cardwell
She was preceded in death by her husband (Archie), grandson (Johnnie Wayne Stead), brothers (George, Charles, and Robin Cardwell), and sister (Ruby Scalf).
Funeral service will begin at 1 PM on Friday, July 5th at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park (425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222).
Visitation will be held from 11 AM until time of service, followed by a private entombment at Floral Park Cemetery.
An after-service gathering, and dinner will take place at her home immediately following the service. All are welcome to attend.
