He is survived by his fiance, Peggy Walston; parents, Gert and Doug Phelps, and Leroy Vicknair; siblings, Troy, Joey (Terri), Holly Vicknair, and Tammy Porter; aunts, Sandra Brignac (Mickey) and Delores Rodrigue; uncle, Paul Harris (Grace); nieces and nephews, Joey, Dustin, Jeremy, T.J., Blake, Jacob Vicknair, Jesse "J.J." Guidroz, Katie, Sadie, Nicole Vicknair, Sara Daigle, and Savannah Porter.
He was preceded in death by T-Bone, Bam-Bam, Hank, MeMe; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Mo was one of a kind. Those of us who knew him could tell you many stories, some funny and some not so much. Mo loved to hunt and fish and take things apart, and sometimes the things would get rebuilt and sometimes not so much. Mo fought many battles over the years and some he won, and others not so much, but now he's riding around Heaven in a burgundy camero.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J.J. Guidroz, Joey, Dustin, Jeremy, Blake, Jacob and T.J. Vicknair.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes during this difficult time.
