Delores Rodrigue Obituary
A visitation will be held in her honor on on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park (4511 West Park Avenue, Gray, LA, 70359) from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A religious service will take place at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Bridget Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Rodrigue and wife, Micki and Brent Rodrigue and wife Lisa; daughter, Nancy Hebert and husband John; brother, Leroy Vicknair; grandchildren, Ashley Rodrigue, Falon Chatagnier (Cory), Katie Aucoin (Travis), Joshua Rodrigue, Ricky Taylor (Lauren), and Thorne Rodrigue; 6 great-grandchildren, Darrell Anspaughsnow Jr., Caleb Anspaughsnow, Emberly Rodrigue, Phoebe Rodrigue, Emma Chatangier, and Allie Chatagnier; 5 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great grandchildren; 1 step great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Rodrigue; parents, George and Lucille Vicknair; brother, Rudy Vicknair; sisters, Vivian Galle and Judy Harris.
She was a woman who found happiness in life's small joys. She loved to spend peaceful time fishing and laughing with her "golden girl" friends at the camp. Her home was always brightened by fresh flowers.
Above everything else, her world centered around her children and grandchildren. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed watching Western movies or cuddling with her beloved puppies.
The family would like to thank Dora Tabor for her care and compassion while caring for their mom.
