Courtney David Brewer is the beloved son of Courtney Bradd & Brenda Jeppson Brewer. He was born on December 3rd, 1983 in Provo, Utah. David unexpectedly passed away at home on June 21st, 2025 at the age of 41.
David is the second of seven children. His parents moved the family to West Jordan, Utah when David was 2 years old where he grew up until he bought his own home in Midvale, Utah. He graduated from Copper Hills High School in 2002.
David is a man of many talents. He is incredibly intelligent and taught himself many computer languages, programming techniques, how things come apart and figuring out how to put them back together. He loves knowing how things work. During his childhood and teenage years he loved to ride his bike, work his paper route, hang out with friends, build Lego creations, model airplanes, cars and erector sets. David has so much patience and focus when it comes to his projects.
Making people feel seen, loved and special are some of David’s talents. He spoiled his nieces and nephews. His love languages are gift giving and quality time. He loves hugs and we will surely miss hugging him. David has the most contagious laugh and is always bringing joy to the people around him. He loves to travel, he is adventurous and loves new experiences. David has traveled through Europe and Asia with family and truly loves all the gelato! He is service oriented and sees the value of helping those in need. David loves to play games and bring Lego sets and fun new remote control toys to family gatherings, especially our trips up to the family cabin.
David has a brilliant mind and a passion working with technology to architect software and systems to handle complex technical challenges. He loves working as Cloud Architect at Experlogix, and considers his co-workers some of his closest friends, serving the company for nearly 12 years. As one of their first hires, he was instrumental in building scalable technical solutions to allow the company to grow to what they are today. He excels in every role that he has, becoming the go-to person for technical guidance and expertise at the company. David has a way to lighten the load and stress of any situation, with his calm demeanor and happy, positive attitude. David knew how to think through problems to find the answers with his amazing technical acumen.
The testimony David has in The Gospel of Jesus Christ is steadfast. He knows his Savior, Jesus Christ and we are grateful to know that David is with Him now. David knows the Book of Mormon is true and has a strong testimony of Eternal Families. We know that we will see David again, that he lives and is watching over his loved ones.
David is survived by his grandmother, Cozette Jeppson; his parents, Courtney Bradd & Brenda Jeppson Brewer; his siblings: Marie & Lee Belliston, Keith & Amber Brewer, Becky & Jeff Tronrud, Rachel Brewer, Jessica & JD Rowley and Brendan Brewer. He is also survived by 6 nieces and 6 nephews that love him dearly. His family and friends love and miss him so much! Until we meet again…
